MARCH DATES
TO REMEMBER: ENSEMBLE REHEARSALS March 27 & March 28 will start the yearly
rehearsals for the Tucson Music Teachers Association’s Ensemble Program. This year we have 12 members of our class
that are participating in the rehearsals and program. Max & Erika Schmidt, Makayla Higgs, Suzannah
Zietzmann, Raydn Riley, Daniel & Page Ross, Josh Simmons, Aylya Almeida, Annie Damus,
Alyssa Henson & Brandon Sosa. For the parents of these students, I have
attached an envelope with your information for this commitment.
If you are not
continuing with lessons, I must remind you that I require a 30 DAY NOTICE BEFORE TERMINATION. This is a courtesy in two ways. I need to help the student exit gracefully
during that 30 days and it gives me 30 days to prepare the replacement
student’s lesson plans and books.
ALL ABSENCES
now require a 12-24 hour notice so that I can get someone to fill your
spot. I must point out that our
agreement when starting lessons stated that I am not required to make-up
absences. All make-ups that I give are
because I hate gaps in my day and I will fill all time slots with a student
just because I care and not that I am required to. Two make-ups for paid summer lessons are
honored per your contracts and will be the first make-ups given.
