MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE An Intermediate Piano Duet Arranged for 1 Piano, 4 Hands by Paulette Albertson, NCTM It is as a music educator that I first fell in love with the lilting melodies of the electrical parade at Disneyland. I have experienced the thrills it gave the children as in the dark night turned into a magical array of lights and music and again, in the very creative piano solo presented in the "Disney Souvenir Songbook". However, it was very difficult for the average intermediate piano student to create the full sound of the lilting melodies and calliope-like background at the same time. What greater fun is there than two equally proficient students trading their melodies and backgrounds back and forth in the full sound of four hands and sharing it with an audience. I would hope that in that audience are others with the same memories that I have of the actual "Parade".
