The NEW SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR is attached.
There are 35 LESSONS in my school calendar. We take only 3 HOLIDAYS (indicated in RED), Monday, September 5th for Labor Day, Tuesday-Thursday, November 22-24th for Thanksgiving and 2 weeks, December 19-29th for Winter Break.
The GREEN ITEMS on the calendar are COMPULSORY ACTIVITIES that I expect the school age students to attend and perform in. They are our classes, guild and the annual awards recital.
The BLUE ITEMS on the calendar are TUCSON MUSIC TEACHERS ACTIVITIES that I will invite different students to participate in as they occur during the year. No one is expected to participate in all of them.
The PURPLE ITEM is a possible TEACHER ABSENCE. When I am absent I make up the lesson either before or after at the student’s convenience.
