MESSAGE FROM THE TEACHER
Dear Parents & Students,
This is probably the hardest letter I have ever written. I will not mince words, I am retiring. Albertson Music Studio will close its doors forever on May 26, 2023.
My husband’s health as well as mine are becoming an increasing concern. We need to pay more attention to enjoying more time together with our loved ones as well as paying attention to our health needs.
I have been doing attrition for some time and am left with the most wonderful group of students and parents that a teacher could offer a prospective new teacher. Please do try to continue with music lessons for my awesome students. I will dearly miss inspiring them. I have done this for fifty plus years and I will feel the void.
I will not be the one to tell the students about my retirement. This is up to you as to how you want to present it to them.
We are preparing a fantastic recital for May 21st and I need every one of the students to participate. I may surprise you with a short performance myself.
Thank you for the opportunity to teach your children. To the adult students I have enjoyed the special musical times we have had together.
